About WEG
The FEI World Equestrian Games is the premier world championship for all eight FEI disciplines: dressage, show jumping, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining, and para-dressage. Held every four years in the middle of the Olympic cycle, WEG brings together the world's best horses and riders to compete for world titles.
History
The first World Equestrian Games was held in Stockholm, Sweden in 1990. The event has been hosted by various countries and came to the United States for the first time in 2010 at the Kentucky Horse Park.
